South Hutchinson will kick off the holiday season with a community‑wide UTV Ride and Food & Toys for Tots Drive on November 21, inviting residents to come together for an evening of celebration, giving, and hometown pride. The annual event features a police‑escorted UTV route through the city, a chili feed, and a special contest for the Best Decorated UTV.

Participants will gather at the South Hutchinson Community Center, located at 101 W. Ave. C. Line‑up begins at 5 p.m., and the ride will start at 6 p.m. The event encourages participants and spectators alike to bring non-perishable food items and unwrapped toys, all of which will support families in need within the Reno County community.

Following the parade, everyone is invited to the community chili feed, where cash donations will be accepted. During the chili feed, the winner of the Best Decorated UTV trophy will be announced.

This event provides a fun and festive way for residents to celebrate together while making a positive impact locally. From creative UTV decorations to holiday lights and family‑friendly gathering spaces, the UTV Ride has become a cherished seasonal tradition.
